Gary Aspden's adidas SPZL skunkworks releases another collaboration with an iconic, influential UK personality and close friend of the team—ex-graffer; DJ and music producer Goldie of Metalheadz.

The Silverbirch first debuted in the SS19 season of SPZL—designed by graphic designer Robert 'Brooksy' Brooks and inspired by heritage running silhouettes. The name comes from the housing estate in which Brooksy grew-up.

Celebrating the tenth anniversary of SPZL and thirty years of Metalheadz, Goldie's inimitable personality is represented in the shoe's design. With a suitably shining gold trim level applied to a neutral pebbled leather upper, it all comes together for maximum effect. Hits of hot pink bring the whole palette together in what is undoubtedly one of the most ostentatious SPZL releases to-date.
